Eggs: Domestic price weakens; shipments respond

Egg prices are falling this week in virtually all regions monitored by CEPEA. According to CEPEA researchers, the pressure comes from weakening demand. Meanwhile, egg exports reacted in October, after having fallen for three consecutive months. Data from Secex indicate that Brazil exported 2,370 tons of natural and processed eggs in October, a volume 14% higher than that exported in September/24 and 13.60% higher than that of October/24.
