According to the survey, the average price of eggs for consumption in the extra, large, and medium categories fell by 14.6% compared to January 2025, equivalent to a reduction of R$ 1.46 per dozen, and showed a drop of 17.5% compared to December 2025, with a contraction of R$ 1.69 per dozen. According to Deral, the largest reduction compared to the same month of the previous year was recorded in the extra egg, whose dozen was quoted at R$ 8.01 in January 2026, compared to R$ 10.71 in January 2025, which represents a decrease of 25.2%.
