The Ministry of Agriculture announced that Egypt has authorized the import of bone-in beef from Brazil. In 2023, Brazilian agricultural exports to Egypt exceeded US$1.73 billion, with over US$384 million from animal protein sales. In the first half of the year, Brazil exported more than US$1.31 billion in agricultural products to Egypt. Additionally, in March, Egypt opened its market to meat, meat products, and offal from goats and sheep.
