In 2025, Egypt significantly increased its export of frozen strawberries to Poland, achieving a historic record and strengthening its position in the European market. According to data from EastFruit, Poland imported 62.2 thousand tons of Egyptian frozen strawberries worth over 76 million dollars. This represents a volume increase of 2.2 times compared to 2024 and a result higher than the combined deliveries from 2023–2024. Egypt supplies frozen strawberries throughout the year, however, the largest volumes reach the market between April and September. Particularly high import levels were recorded in July 2025, when it amounted to 9.5 thousand tons – this is 2.6 times more than in the same period the previous year. In May and June, imports reached 9.2 thousand tons and 9.3 thousand tons, respectively.
