This season, Egyptian lemon exports reached 100,000 tons, said Amr Kadah, export manager at HB Group. “Egypt enjoys favorable climatic conditions for the cultivation of lemons, which allows year-round cultivation. The area covers 35,000 hectares, mainly in Northern Egypt, and in 2023 we reached 100,000 tons of exports,” says Kadah.
