The Aegean Exporters' Associations (EIB) has seen a significant increase in exports, with a 54% rise in May 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, reaching 1 billion 218 million 637 thousand dollars. This increase is spread across various sectors, with industrial sectors contributing 87% of the growth, agricultural sectors 20%, and the mining industry 54%. The Aegean Region's exports, excluding Denizli, hit 2 billion 192 million dollars in May. Eskinazi, the chairman of the Denizli Exporters' Association, has called for the establishment of an exporter union in additional sectors and for the inclusion of Denizli's exports in the EIB's figures, which currently stand at 433 million 431 thousand dollars, 36% of the total EIB exports.
