As of November 3, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 5,908.4 thousand hectares of winter crops. This represents 90% of the projected areas. This is reported by SuperAgronom.com, citing data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine. In particular, the following has been sown: Winter grains have been sown on 89.3% of the planned areas. The largest areas for winter grain crops have been allocated in the Odesa (675 thousand hectares), Dnipropetrovsk (569.1 thousand hectares), Mykolaiv (592.5 thousand hectares), and Kirovohrad (426 thousand hectares) regions. To the regions that have already completed the sowing of winter crops (Poltava, Chernihiv, Ternopil) have been added the Sumy and Volyn regions.
