Turkey's leading retail flour producer Eksun Food has begun the construction of wind energy plants (RES) with a total capacity of 18.9 MW, obtained incentive documents to meet the energy needs of its production facilities. Eksun Food Group Chairman and CEO Hasan Abdullah Özkan stated that with the implementation of the RES, the company will use clean energy obtained from renewable sources in all of its production processes. Eksun Food continues its operations with an understanding of environmental responsibility as well as production power. For this purpose, construction work has begun on the RES, the permit processes for which were previously completed. The plants, which will be built in Izmir to meet the energy needs of the production facilities with renewable energy sources, will have a total capacity of 18.9 MW.
