Senators and deputies of the State Duma have outlined the strategic objectives of the agro-industrial complex in the South of Russia, which include developing domestic selection, increasing vineyards and orchards, and promoting local wine products. The main challenge in the region is the situation in grain production, with a record harvest and low prices affecting the development of enterprises and small farms. To support agricultural producers, preferential lending has become a key measure. Promising areas for the agro-industrial complex in the South of Russia include deep processing of agricultural products, nursery farming, and viticulture and winemaking.
