The İRFAN DONAT Meat and Milk Institution (ESK) in Turkey has initiated a discount campaign on lamb sales, offering up to 25% discount on sheep, lamb, and full-bodied meat in its stores. The campaign aims to make quality lamb meat more accessible and affordable to consumers. In a year, the institution's sales of minced and cubed meat are only a small fraction of Turkey's red meat sales. The ESK also emphasizes its commitment to maintaining price stability by increasing the purchase of sheep and lambs from producers, ensuring stability for both producers and consumers. The exports of lamb carcasses will also contribute to the national economy by bringing in by-products such as leather, offal, and animal fats.
