The Vietnam Fish Sauce Association was established during a Congress on October 27, 2020, aiming to enhance the culinary culture of Vietnamese fish sauce, increase production, and meet market demands. The association, which represents about 70% of the entire industry, will also protect the rights of businesses involved in fish sauce production and trading. With a processing capacity of 250 million liters per year and participation from 1,500 households, the industry has experienced significant growth, reaching a value of around 6,000 billion per year and exporting to over 20 markets. The association's focus will be on food safety and quality indicators, as well as transparent product labeling to ensure consumer satisfaction and a healthy market.
