Estimated data on the number of farm animals in Ukraine were announced

As of January 1, 2023, agricultural enterprises and households keep the following livestock of agricultural animals: - cattle - 2.4 million heads. The reduction compared to the same date last year was 10.8%; – pigs – 5 million heads, which is 9.1% less than a year ago; - sheep and goats - 965.2 thousand heads. This is 11.5% less than on January 1, 2022. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, referring to its own calculations.
