Eswatini has confirmed several outbreaks of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD). In response to this situation, imports of fresh meat and meat-based products from all parts of the country are now subject to restrictions as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the disease.
The authorities are actively monitoring the situation and implementing control measures to contain the epidemic and protect animal health.
