Between January and May of this year, Peru experienced a significant decrease in evaporated milk exports, with a drop from 25,253,498 kilos in the same period of 2020 to 6,585,993 kilos in 2021, valued at US $ 31,961,768 and US $ 10,031,935 respectively. Despite the decrease, Chile remained the primary destination for these exports, receiving 38% of the total shipments, followed by Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas. Some of the leading companies involved in these exports include Leche Gloria SA, Nestlé Perú SA, and Export and Import and Investments William EIRL.
