Extra Virgin Olive Oil with the stamp of the Denomination of Origin Sierra Mágina is protected from imitations and usurpations in a total of 20 countries of the world thanks to bilateral agreements of the European Union with third countries.
The Specifically, Mágina EVOO has institutional support in: Armenia, China, Japan, Argentina, Moldova, South Africa, Australia, Republic of Korea, Kosovo, Brazil, New Zealand, Switzerland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Liechtenstein, Paraguay, Serbia, Ukraine, Canada, Iceland, Mexico, Uruguay, Singapore, and Vietnam. This is clear from the list published on its website by the General Directorate of the Food Industry, an entity dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food that works for the protection of Protected Designations of Origin and Protected Geographical Indications beyond the borders of the European Union.
