The article highlights that that the expected price increase for flour and bread in Kyrgyzstan did not occur as the National Department of Taxes (NDS) exemption on 15 import goods has been extended for an additional year. This decision was made to ensure food security, prevent a critical shortage of agricultural products, and allow for operational response to internal and external threats to the country's food market. The exempted items include sugar, corn sugar, vegetable oils, fertilized eggs, wheat, oats, and fish feed. This measure has successfully stabilized the prices of some products and kept the price fluctuation to a minimum compared to neighboring countries.
