Experimental farms in Belarus have started harvesting sunflowers

Belarusian farmers are confident in the potential for producing sunflower oil domestically as they have begun cultivating southern crops on a large scale. Over 5 thousand hectares of land have been allocated for sunflower cultivation, with this year's yield reaching 40 c/ha, on par with global producers. This achievement is attributed to the assistance of scientists who provided guidance on selecting suitable varieties and developing effective cultivation techniques.
