In order to consolidate sacha inchi as a flagship product of the Amazon and position it in national and international markets, the National Quality Institute (Inacal) presented a total of 11 Peruvian Technical Standards (NTP) specific to this high export potential crop. The standards cover everything from good agricultural and post-harvest practices to guidelines for storage, the production of protein flour, snacks, cakes, food and cosmetic oil, and roasted products. These technical tools will allow producers to guarantee quality, safety, traceability, and greater added value throughout the sacha inchi supply chain, strengthening its competitiveness and generating consumer confidence. Within the framework of the Expo Amazónica 2025 fair, which takes place from October 2 to 5 in Tarapoto, Inacal will disseminate these NTP on Sunday, October 5 during the Forum "Innovative and Competitive Amazonia."
