From September 2022 to February 2023, Georgia experienced a 17% increase in apple exports over the previous year, totaling 6,300 tons, and a 17% increase in export earnings despite stable prices. However, the value of these exports has been devalued by exchange rate fluctuations and high inflation, with the purchase power of the income earned being less than the previous season. The total value of apple exports during this period was $4 million, a significant increase from $3.4 million the previous year.
