Export of Georgian peaches has increased by 4% since the beginning of the season

Export of 10.3 thousand tons of peaches since May 1 of this year brought Georgia $11.1 million, Business Georgia reports based on the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the country. According to the agency, export volumes are 4% (439 tons) higher than the same period last year. In addition, the value of exports increased by 1%, or by $143,000. Peaches were mainly exported to Russia (9,266 tons), Armenia (970 tons), Belarus (20 tons), and Ukraine (18 tons).
