Export of Kazakh flour to Afghanistan increased by 22%

Afghanistan continues to be the biggest buyer of Kazakh wheat flour, with exports reaching 1.122 million tons in the first 9 months of the 2022/23 marketing year, marking a 22% increase from the previous season. However, in May of this year, the lowest volume of wheat flour exports to Afghanistan for the entire season was recorded at 71.44 thousand tons, compared to 95.4 thousand tons during the same period last year.
