Export of sausage products from Russia increased by 16% in a year – RSHB

In 2024, Russia increased its export of sausage products by 16 percent compared to the 2023 level to 95 thousand tons. Such data was provided by the press service of the Russian Agricultural Bank (RSHB) with reference to the managing director of the bank's industry expertise center Oleg Lityaykin. The expert noted that the domestic market for these products is growing steadily and shows high potential for further development. In total, according to him, sausage products from Russia are supplied to 75 countries. However, Lityaykin did not name a specific list of these countries or macroregions, as well as a list of the most supplied items. The RSHB also provided data on production for January-October. For that period, taking into account similar meat products, including poultry, about 2.1 million tons were produced, or 2.1% more year-on-year.
