In 2021, Russia saw a 27% increase in sausage exports, reaching 48 thousand tons with a value of $109 million, a 36% increase from the previous year. The number of countries importing Russian sausages grew to 47, with significant growth in shipments to Africa and neighboring countries like Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, and Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan's imports increased by 23%, and Ukraine's by 36%. Non-CIS countries such as Vietnam, Mongolia, and Japan also began importing Russian sausages.
