Uzbekistan has permitted the export of seeds of melon, castor oil, mustard, and safflower starting November 1, 2022, as part of a decree by the President to increase the country's export potential. Exporters will enjoy benefits such as exemption from fines for overdue receivables if the amount is less than 5% of the total export contract cost, and reduced taxable bases for income and turnover taxes. The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade's proposal to select exporting enterprises through an open competition has also been approved.
