A survey by Dan Viet reveals that pepper prices in Vietnam are stable, ranging from 86,500 to 89,000 VND/kg across different provinces. Despite a decrease in export volume by 5.7%, the pepper export value has seen a significant increase of 44.2% due to a 71.3% rise in export price in the first 10 months of 2021. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development praises the growing global market position of 'Vietnamese pepper,' especially in Australia, where Vietnam is the largest exporter. Efforts are underway to further promote agricultural products and spices, including pepper, in the Australian market.
