Belarus has experienced a significant increase in agri-food exports to the CIS countries and new markets, with a total export growth of 6.5% from January to July, generating $3.2 billion in revenue. The country has found new customers in 14 countries, including South Sudan, Bangladesh, and Niger, and has seen a record increase in exports to China. However, Russia, the largest trading partner, reduced its imports of Belarusian products by 7.1%. The European Union and the United States are the largest global suppliers of agri-food products, with the Polish Economic Institute noting that most of the trade involves industrial processing products.
