According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in January 2026, the export turnover of Vietnam's agriculture, forestry, and fishery products is estimated to reach nearly 6.51 billion USD (an increase of 29.5% compared to the same period last year, 2025). Specific information at the regular press conference held on the morning of February 5, Mr. Tran Gia Long - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Finance (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) said, out of the total export turnover above, the export value of agricultural products reached 3.6 billion USD (an increase of 41.8%); the export value of livestock products reached 47.5 million USD (an increase of 20.2%); the export value of aquatic products reached 940 million USD (an increase of 21.5%); the export value of forestry products reached 1.72 billion USD (an increase of 13%); the export value of salt reached 1.1 million USD (an increase of 49%)... By territorial region, Asia is the largest export market for Vietnam's agricultural, forestry, and fishery products with a market share of 45.3%. The next two largest markets are the Americas and Europe with market shares of 22.7% and 13.4%, respectively. The market shares of the African and Oceania regions are small, accounting for 2.6% and 1.4%, respectively.
