The production is anticipated to reach 14.5 million tons in 2022, with a slight 1.5% increase from 2021, and is projected to grow further to 14.750 million tons in 2023, a 2% increase from the previous year. However, the per capita consumption is expected to slightly decrease to 45.1 kg/year in 2022, compared to 45.5 kg/year in 2021, but is projected to rise slightly to 45.5 kg/year in 2023.
