Exports of grain in December are still less than 2 million tons.

As of December 22, Ukraine has exported 14,255 thousand tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year (July–June), reports "ProAgro Group". According to the State Customs Service, the volume of exports is 7 million tons or 32.9% less than the figure on December 27 of the previous year. Wheat supplies currently amount to 7,656 thousand tons, which is almost 2 million tons or 20.4% less than the volume exported during the corresponding period last season. 1,223 thousand tons of barley have been shipped abroad – 745 thousand tons or 37.9% less. Corn supplies are also significantly lagging behind last year: currently they amount to 5,127 thousand tons against almost 9.4 million tons a year ago, which is 45.2% less. Only 200 tons of rye have been exported abroad this season, while last year 10.8 thousand tons had already been exported by this time.
