In October, 66,600 metric tons of product were shipped, a 4.5% decrease from a year ago. Nevertheless, the exported value far exceeds the records of 2024 due to a sustained increase in the price per ton. The average value reached USD 5,806, 0.6% more than in September and 44.8% above last year, when it was around USD 4,011. This increase explains that, despite the 8.5% drop in accumulated shipments for the year, revenues have scaled 26.3%, to USD 3,155.1 million. The ABC highlighted that the downward trend that dominated since May 2022 began to reverse in mid-2025. However, the current price remains USD 495 below the historical maximum of April 2022.
