Argentine meat exports grew by 38.3% year-on-year in October despite the sector shipping less volume. According to the Consortium of Meat Exporters (ABC), USD 386.5 million was generated, driven by the strong recovery in international prices.

In October, 66,600 metric tons of product were shipped, a 4.5% decrease from a year ago. Nevertheless, the exported value far exceeds the records of 2024 due to a sustained increase in the price per ton. The average value reached USD 5,806, 0.6% more than in September and 44.8% above last year, when it was around USD 4,011. This increase explains that, despite the 8.5% drop in accumulated shipments for the year, revenues have scaled 26.3%, to USD 3,155.1 million. The ABC highlighted that the downward trend that dominated since May 2022 began to reverse in mid-2025. However, the current price remains USD 495 below the historical maximum of April 2022.
