Bulgaria's sunseed exports have seen a 26% decrease in the first eleven months of this season compared to the same period last season, and are also 12% lower than the five-year average, according to Agroportal. The majority of these exports are to EU countries such as the Netherlands and Austria, with Turkey being the main non-EU buyer. Additionally, the country's sunseed imports have also decreased to 0.5 million tons this season, down from the previous season's 0.68 million tons.
