In August 2021, Turkey saw a 14% increase in fresh vegetable and fruit exports compared to the same period last year, reaching a value of $148.3 million and volume of 247,155 tons. There was a significant 1,424% increase in exports to Greece, along with notable growth in Libya and Israel. The exports to Russia, Germany, Syria, Europe (including Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria and Switzerland) also increased. Notably, grape exports experienced a 21% increase, making them the most in demand item.
