The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture has reported an overall increase in the yield of various crops for the first half of 2022 compared to 2021. Notable increases include extra early potatoes (2.9%), tomatoes (0.8%), mushrooms (0.8%), celery (7.4%), leeks (6.2%), carrots (7.7%), eggplant (6%), and radishes (73.8%). However, there is an expected decrease in the yield of courgettes (5.3%), endive (7.4%), and beans (5.1%). Strawberries, raspberries, and bananas from the Canary Islands are also expected to see a decrease in yield (1.2%, 4.7%, and 4.3% respectively).
