Farmers in Zhytomyr region have harvested over 235 thousand tons of sugar beet crop—harvesting is complete.

In Zhytomshchyna, the harvesting of sugar beets has been completed. A total of 235.1 thousand tons have been harvested with an average yield of 49.49 t/ha. This was reported by the Department of Agro-Industrial Development and Economic Policy of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. As noted, this year, sugar beets in all categories of farms in the region were grown on an area of 4.8 thousand hectares, which is 1.9 thousand hectares less than in 2024.
