The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia plans to check the adequacy of the formation of the cost of margarine, which has risen in price over the current year. This was reported by the press service of the regulator. It will verify the reasonableness of the establishment of wholesale prices for the product. This work will be carried out in relation to 16 regions of the country. The service has requested information on the volumes of production and sales of the dairy product in two categories – consumer and industrial, as well as the cost, wholesale prices, and profitability of sales. Such requests have been sent to organizations from 16 regions of the country. In particular, these include 5 regions of the Central Federal District (Moscow, Moscow Oblast, Saint Petersburg, Belgorod Oblast, and Voronezh Oblast), 2 from the Volga Federal District (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and Saratov Oblast), and 4 from Siberia (Irkutsk Oblast, Kemerovo Oblast, Novosibirsk Oblast, and ...
