The market for fattened cattle registered an increase in São Paulo this Thursday (12), according to the analysis of the “Tem Boi na Linha” report from Scot Consultoria. The price of fattened cattle and "China cattle" rose by R$ 2.00 per arroba at the opening of business, while the prices of cows and heifers remained stable compared to the previous day. According to Scot Consultoria, the restricted supply sustained the prices. The outflow of beef, with emphasis on exports, also contributed to maintaining the prices. With difficulty in forming a scale and without purchase contracts, small and medium-sized slaughterhouses raised the values paid per arroba.
