The market for fattened cattle registered a movement of price accommodation this week, despite the slaughter schedules at the slaughterhouses remaining shorter. According to analyst Fernando Iglesias from Safras & Mercado, the market evaluated the position of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, which dispelled rumors about the presence of the acaricide Fluazuron in Brazilian beef destined for China. "This rumor strongly impacted B3 throughout the first half of November," he explains. Another point of attention, according to Iglesias, is the investigation conducted by China on the effects of Brazilian imports on local production.
