Brazil and China will formalize agreements on Wednesday (20) to increase Brazilian exports of products such as beef and pork offal, as well as fruit, Brazilian Agriculture Minister Carlos Fávaro told reporters on Monday (18). He revealed that announcements with China will be made after a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Brasília. The minister highlighted that China is already one of the main markets for Brazilian meat, especially beef cuts. But now Brazil should gain access to the offal segment. “The protocols that are already ready (to be announced) are beef and pork offal. Brazil does not yet export offal to China, but the health protocols are already ready,” he told reporters.
