Last week, South Korean company Major Feedmill Group (MFG) managed to purchase nearly 200 thousand tons of feed corn in a private deal and at auction, reported the electronic edition APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. On Tuesday, a private deal was agreed with the company Olam for the delivery by September 25 of 63 thousand tons originating from South Africa or a South American country for $277.50 per ton C&F plus a fee of $1.50 per ton for unloading at a reserve port.
