Compound feed production in the European Union is expected to show slight growth in 2025, after a period marked by adjustments and uncertainties, according to estimates from the European Feed Manufacturers Association (FEFAC). The expectation indicates relative stability in the sector, even in the face of economic, regulatory, and health pressures that continue to affect animal production in different countries of the bloc. The estimate points to the total volume of compound feed in the 27 countries of the European Union reaching 147.5 million tons in 2025, an increase of 0.4% compared to 2024. The number represents a positive revision compared to the initial projection released in May, when a contraction was expected.
