The first statement on the matter from Düzce came from Kadir Mutioğlu, the President of the Akçakoca Chamber of Agriculture. Interpreting Ferrero's halt in purchases as "the company's pricing policy," Mutioğlu criticized producers and certain groups who give credence to such news.
