The total harvested area of grain crops, including rice, was 15,129 thousand hectares (-5.8% y/y), and the post-processing weight harvest was 24,948 thousand tons (+1.5% y/y). The total harvested area of all wheat was 12,195 thousand hectares (-6.7%), including: ▪️soft wheat - 11,801 thousand hectares (-5.6%); ▪️hard wheat - 394 thousand hectares (-31%). The production of all wheat showed the second result in history (only higher in 2011) and increased to 19,326 thousand tons (+4%), including: ▪️soft wheat - 18,531 thousand tons (+5.5%); ▪️hard wheat - 795 thousand tons (-22%). The harvested area of barley, almost equal to last year's, was 2,282 thousand hectares, and the harvested crop amounted to 3,593 thousand tons, which is lower than last year's level by 6.4%. 1,006 thousand tons (1 thousand tons more y/y) of corn was harvested from 176 thousand hectares (+8.6%).
