First Vietnamese company to export passion fruit to Australia

Pan Guonan, sales director of Blue Ocean JSC, said that after hard negotiations, market opening, and close cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Australian Department of Agriculture, the company has exported more than 1.5 tons of passion fruit to Australia, marking Blue Ocean JSC as the first Vietnamese unit to export passion fruit to this market. Passion fruit has become the fifth fruit officially exported to Australia after mango, longan, lychee and pitaya. A representative of Blue Ocean JSC revealed that in order for fresh passion fruit to enter Australia, there must be a planting area, planting area code and packaging facility code issued by the Plant Protection Agency, and there must be inspection and supervision by partners.
