Due to the storm in Turkey and Izmir, fishermen are unable to go out to sea, which has caused a decrease in fish supply and an increase in prices. Prices for anchovies have risen from 50 to 70 liras, while sardines are being sold for 70 liras, sea bream and sea bass for 150 to 180 liras, and bluefish for 400 liras. However, the fishermen believe that once the weather improves, fish prices will fall again.
