The transit market saw varied prices for different fish species and types, such as tilapia, Swiss pasta, snakehead, coral, mullet, seabass, and squid. Egypt achieves 85% self-sufficiency in fish production, with fish farms being the primary contributor, and the country imports and exports certain fish species. The prices for fresh and frozen fish, including tilapia, shrimp, squid, bream, and various other fish, were also provided.
