Panennews.com - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is encouraging the emergence of new entrepreneurs in transmigration areas through the development of processed fish food industries. This step is aimed at increasing the added value of fishery products, opening up job opportunities, and supporting efforts to eradicate poverty in the region. The program is carried out through the New Entrepreneurship Guidance for Processed Fish Food Industry in the Transmigration Area of Barelang, Batam City, Riau Islands, on July 27–30, 2026. This activity is part of the implementation of Presidential Instruction Number 8 of 2025 on Optimizing the Implementation of Poverty Alleviation and Extreme Poverty Eradication and the synergy results between the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Transmigration.
