The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of South Korea has permitted five Russian companies to export ice cream and butter to the country. The Russian Federation currently exports butter, milk powder, lactose, and ice cream to South Korea, and is in the process of gaining access to other dairy products such as condensed milk, cream, cheese, fermented milk products, and demineralized milk powder. South Korea is a major importer of foodstuffs, with dairy product imports amounting to $ 1.1 billion in 2020. The Federal Center "Agroexport" has developed an export guide to assist Russian participants in supplying dairy products to South Korea, which is available for download on the Federal Center "Agroexport" website.
