Recent floods in Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province, Vietnam, have severely impacted local agriculture, particularly affecting snakehead fish and poultry farmers. Farmer Tran Kim Phi lost over 3 tons of fish, while others in Ngu Thuy Bac suffered losses of around 7 tons. The floods also resulted in the death of over 32,000 chickens and nearly 200 pigs in Truong Thuy commune, causing losses of nearly 4 billion VND. The local government is helping with the burial of dead poultry to prevent environmental issues. Additionally, crops in Hong Thuy and Thanh Thuy communes were submerged, leading to the loss of vegetables and flowers meant for Tet celebrations.
