Following the jellyfish alert, a high-temperature alert level 1 has been issued, deepening the concerns of fishermen. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries issued the high-temperature alert 'Serious I' on July 29. On July 28, an alert stage for the mass occurrence of jellyfish was issued. The high-temperature alert 'Serious I' is issued when high-temperature warnings or alerts are issued in more than 15 of the 37 special sea areas. Currently, the coastal areas of Jeju and four inner bays in South Jeolla Province (Hampyeong Bay, Doam Bay, Deokryang Bay, and Yeoja Bay) are under a high-temperature alert 'Warning', along with nine other areas including the central West Sea, the southwestern coast of the South Sea, the areas around Geomundo and Heuksando, and the areas of Cheonsuman and Jinhae Bay.
