REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The government is preparing market operations to keep food prices affordable during Ramadan 1447 Hijriah until Idul Fitri 2026. Minister of Agriculture and Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) Andi Amran Sulaiman ensures that this intervention targets the supply and distribution of strategic commodities amid a surge in demand. Amran conveyed that the Ministry of Agriculture is strengthening food supply and price security together with related ministries and agencies, local governments, state-owned enterprises, and business actors to ensure smooth distribution and control prices at the consumer level.
